Chris & Julie Eastaugh
The Rosemont was built in 1902 and the first occupant was a direct descendant of Sir Francis Drake. This early Edwardian house first became a B&B in the late 1920's & 30's and has undergone many changes in the 110 years since it was built.
Converted back into a B&B in the 1980's, Chris & Julie have been the proud owners since May 1997. Constant refurbishment and upgrading has continued over the intervening years.
We moved to Yelverton from the Birmingham area to own and operate our own business. Settling in Dartmoor has been one of our best decisions. We have made many friends over the years with our guests. The Rosemont has provided us with a business and a happy family home for ourselves and our two children, Miles and Fen.
We have worked hard to create a relaxing and quality environment for our guests to enjoy their leisure time.
The house operates an unobtrusive, friendly, yet still professional way. We work hard so you don't have to.
